Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], April 22: With the 2026 Chardham Yatra season opening in early May and millions of pilgrims across India and abroad beginning to book helicopter packages, Udan Aviation — Dehradun’s ISO-certified Chardham helicopter operator — has issued a formal public warning about the rising number of fraudulent helicopter booking websites and fake travel agents targeting pilgrims ahead of this year’s season.

The warning comes weeks after the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, operating under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, issued an official government alert about online booking frauds specifically targeting Char Dham pilgrims — including fake websites, deceptive social media pages, and paid search engine advertisements designed to steal pilgrim payments.

Uttarakhand’s Special Task Force has previously busted organised gangs running fake Chardham helicopter booking networks, exposing and blocking over 76 + fraudulent websites in coordinated police operations. Victims have been reported from across India — including Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat — as well as from NRI families booking from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and the UAE.

The Fraud That Shatters a Lifetime of Faith

Rashmi Negi, Founder and Managing Director of Udan Aviation, described the human cost of the scam in terms that go beyond financial loss.

“I have personally spoken with pilgrims who arrived at Helipad at 5:30 in the morning — some of them in their seventies, some having flown in from abroad — and discovered that their booking did not exist. The agent’s number was switched off. The website was gone. The money was gone. For a 74-year-old devotee who has waited a lifetime for this journey, that moment is devastating in a way that no compensation can undo,” said Negi.

“We are issuing this warning not as a marketing exercise but because it is the right thing to do. Pilgrims deserve to complete this Yatra safely — and that starts with booking safely.”

Udan Aviation has published a free, comprehensive Chardham Helicopter Scam Awareness Guide on its website at www.udanaviation.in, covering the 15 warning signs of a fake operator, 7 verification steps every pilgrim should complete before paying, and a complete safety checklist. The guide is available free of charge to all pilgrims regardless of which operator they choose to book with.

How the Scam Operates — The Pattern Every Pilgrim Must Know

According to Negi, the fraud follows a consistent and recognisable pattern. Fraudsters register website domains that differ by a single character from legitimate operator sites — for example heliyatra-irctc.co.in mimicking the official IRCTC portal at heliyatra.irctc.co.in. They run Google Ads and Facebook Ads targeting high-demand searches such as “Chardham helicopter booking 2026” and “Kedarnath helicopter ticket”, ensuring their fraudulent sites appear prominently in search results.

When pilgrims contact these sites, they are called back within minutes by trained operators who speak convincingly about Chardham operations or Kedarnath boarding procedure, create artificial urgency around seat availability, and request payment via personal UPI accounts or informal bank transfers. Fake booking confirmations — complete with copied logos and realistic reference numbers — are then issued. The fraud is discovered only when pilgrims arrive at the helipad on departure day.

“The most dangerous aspect of this scam is how professional it looks,” said Negi. “The websites are well designed. The voices on the phone know the right terminology. The confirmation documents are indistinguishable from genuine ones. The only protection is verification — and most pilgrims simply do not know what to verify.”

The 5 Things Every Pilgrim Must Verify Before Paying

Negi outlined five specific verification steps that every pilgrim or family booking a Chardham helicopter package should complete before making any payment:

1. Verify the exact domain name character by character. Fraudulent sites use domains with one or two character differences from legitimate operators. Check the URL carefully — and verify domain registration age at who.is. A domain registered in 2025 or 2026 cannot represent an operator with multiple seasons of experience.

2. Never pay to a personal UPI or individual bank account. A registered business collects payment to a company account where the company name appears on the bank statement. Any request to pay to an individual’s personal UPI, Google Pay, or PhonePe account is a fraud signal regardless of how legitimate the operator appears.

3. Ask for the GSTIN and verify it. Every registered business operator charging at these price points is legally required to be GST registered. Verify any GSTIN provided at services.gst.gov.in. If it does not return a valid result matching the operator’s name — do not proceed.

4. Ask for a video call or office visit. A legitimate Dehradun-based operator has a physical office and will agree to a video call or in-person visit before booking. A remote fraudster cannot offer this.

5. For Kedarnath shuttle tickets — book only at heliyatra.irctc.co.in. The government Kedarnath helicopter shuttle service is booked exclusively through IRCTC’s official portal. No private agent is authorised to sell these tickets. Anyone offering them through any other channel is operating a scam.

Pilgrims who have been defrauded should report immediately to the National Cybercrime Helpline at 1930, file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in, and contact their bank immediately to attempt a transaction reversal.

About the 2026 Chardham Season

The 2026 Chardham Yatra season opens in early May, with all four Dhams — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath — expected to receive millions of pilgrims between May and October. Helicopter packages from Dehradun represent a rapidly growing segment of the pilgrimage, driven primarily by elderly devotees and NRI families for whom the traditional 10 to 12-day road journey is not physically possible.

Udan Aviation is accepting bookings for the 2026 season for its complete Chardham yatra by helicopter package (6 days, 5 nights, all 4 Dhams, ₹2,30,000 per person all-inclusive) Do Dham yatra by helicopter at ₹ 1,40,000 Per person and single-Dham packages beginning at ₹90,000 per person. The company advises early booking — particularly for May and September departures, which typically fill 60 to 90 days in advance.

About Udan Aviation

Udan Aviation is an ISO-certified Chardham Yatra by helicopter operator headquartered at Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Founded by Rashmi Negi — who holds an MBA in Tourism Management and brings 16 years of professional experience in India’s travel, tourism, and aviation industry — the company was established to make India’s most sacred pilgrimage circuit accessible to elderly devotees, mobility-challenged pilgrims, and NRI families for whom the traditional road journey is not a realistic option.

Udan Aviation has safely served 3,000+ pilgrims across every season of operations with a zero safety-incident record. The company holds ISO quality management certification — a standard rare among private pilgrimage helicopter operators in India — and offers complete Chardham, Do Dham, Kedarnath, and Badrinath helicopter packages, along with private helicopter and jet charter services across India.

The company’s free Chardham Helicopter Scam Awareness Guide is available at www.udanaviation.in.

New Delhi [India], April 22: Eternal Sounds and the Calcutta Heritage Collective (CHC) presented Bickram Ghosh’s fusion music album, Rhythmscape 2.0, at the Far Pavilions of the Tolly Club recently. This occasion marks the completion of twenty-five years for Bicikram Ghosh’s fusion album and the band, Rhythmscape. Rhythmscape 2.0, featuring seven brand-new tracks, was officially unveiled at the event. The album is released on Eternal Sounds the kolkata based music label. Representing Eternal Sounds partners as Utsav Parekh, Gaurang Jalan, Mayank Jalan and Bickram Ghosh were present.

After twenty-five years, Bickram Ghosh returns to redefine the very sound he pioneered through Rhythmscape.

In 2001, the world witnessed the birth of a magical new sound–accompanied by an equally mesmerizing live performance experience. Bickram Ghosh launched his flagship project, Rhythmscape, twenty-five years ago–a venture that would subsequently go on to make history. Despite the various pressures of the industry, Bickram chose not to leave Bengal; instead, remaining rooted in Kolkata, he built his internationally acclaimed band, Rhythmscape.

Rhythmscape has performed on premier stages across the globe and has pioneered an experimental musical genre that has inspired generations to embrace the path of fusion music. Rhythmscape centers on rhythmic improvisation, melodic emotion, and the art of storytelling–seamlessly blending Indian classical percussion with modern arrangements, global musical influences, and contemporary production techniques.

Bickam Ghosh returns with Rhythmscape 2.0–serving as a contemporary successor to his groundbreaking original work. While retaining the core spirit of the original Rhythmscape, this new album reflects the journey of his artistic life over the past two decades, his evolution as a performer, and his extensive experience performing on the global stage. Rhythmscape 2.0 illustrates how rhythm continuously evolves, transcending the boundaries of generation and genre. At the heart of Rhythmscape 2.0 lies the concept that rhythm is a universal language–capable of connecting people across the divides of culture, emotion, and audience demographics.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Bickram Ghosh has collaborated with numerous Grammy-winning artists, performed on iconic stages across six continents, composed music for films, and released albums that defy easy categorization within a single genre. He is one of the few Indian classical percussionists to have established a global presence while remaining based in Kolkata. As a composer, Bickram has worked across Bollywood, World Music, and Classical Crossover formats. As a teacher and mentor, he has also profoundly influenced a new generation of percussion artists. His role as a Cause Ambassador for Calcutta Heritage Collective further underscores his unwavering commitment to preserving and reimagining Bengal’s rich cultural heritage.

During the album launch event, a captivating conversation between Bickram Ghosh and cultural activist Nandita Palchoudhuri–exploring the journey of his fusion music–drew significant attention.

Bickram Ghosh remarked, “The journey of Rhythmscape has seen many new additions–such as the inclusion of various new instruments in this album, and the incorporation of Hip-Hop in the music videos. Although we are currently living in the era of singles, Rhythmscape represents a confluence of diverse emotions; therefore, it was simply impossible to capture that essence within a single track. My hope is that Rhythmscape continues to reach even greater heights and spreads even further.”

New Delhi [India], April 20: Most NDA aspirants begin serious preparation at different stages of their academic journey. Prince has built a system that gives students an opportunity to begin much earlier, from Class 6 itself.

At Prince, the journey of the best NDA academy in Sikar starts early through a defence-focused environment that combines schooling, physical discipline, officer-like qualities, and long-term NDA preparation. The idea is simple: by the time a student reaches the core NDA stage, he already carries years of structured learning and training behind him.

This is what Prince is trying to show through its model:

  • Students here do not only prepare for NDA
  • They grow up in a system shaped around the life of a future defence officer
  • They get an early-start advantage from Class 6
  • They study inside a complete defence ecosystem that includes both the school and the academy
  • They train in a system backed by strong selection results

Results & Credibility

The strongest argument for any training system is whether it works.

Prince backs its model with clear results:

  • 149 NDA selections from 2022 to 2026
  • 30 selections in NDA 156
  • 12 students in Top 100 AIR in NDA 156
  • AIR-1 from Prince NDA Academy

These numbers matter because they show that the system is backed by visible outcomes across multiple batches. The Prince model is not only built around planning and structure. It has also produced results that give weight to its approach.

Placed against its long preparation pipeline from Class 6 onward, these outcomes reinforce one point clearly: Prince offers a system that is both structured and proven.

CORE STORY

At Prince, NDA preparation does not begin only at one stage. It can begin as early as Class 6.

That is the center of the Prince model. Instead of treating NDA as only a short-term exam goal, the institute treats it as a long-term development process for students who choose to start early. Students enter young, build discipline early, adjust to a structured routine, and spend years preparing their mindset, academics, physical fitness, and officer-like qualities.

At the same time, Prince also provides dedicated NDA preparation after Class 10th and 12th onward along with school (11th & 12th) and college (after 12th). It remains a serious and focused stage of preparation for UPSC Written and SSB Interview. What makes the Prince model distinctive is that students also have the option to build that journey much earlier through its school system.

This is not about lowering the value of Class 11 preparation. It is about showing the added strength of a longer runway for students who begin in Class 6. Prince supports both paths within one larger defence-oriented ecosystem.

INSTITUTE STRUCTURE

Prince runs through two connected institutions, and that structure is what gives the model its clarity.

1. Prince Sainik School

Prince Sainik School is a CBSE-affiliated residential school for students from Class VI to XII, designed specifically for those who aspire to build a career in defence services and civil services.

This is where the base is built. Students continue their school education, but they do it inside a system designed to prepare them early for the discipline and demands of defence services. The focus is not only on academics. Students are introduced to a structured routine, physical activity, officer-like qualities, and the habits expected from serious NDA aspirants.

This stage includes:

  • Strong CBSE academic foundation
  • Early competitive exam orientation
  • Structured daily routine & discipline
  • Development of Officer Like Qualities (OLQs)
  • Physical fitness & training
  • Olympiad & academic excellence programs

In other words, Prince Sainik School is the foundation stage. It shapes the student before the exam-specific stage begins.

2. Prince NDA Academy

Prince NDA Academy is dedicated to preparing students for the UPSC NDA Written Examination and SSB Interview, offering integrated programs after Class X (with school) and after Class XII (with college).

This is the advanced stage of the journey. Here, the training becomes sharply focused on NDA written preparation and SSB preparation. Students are already inside a defence-oriented system, so the work now becomes more targeted, more competitive, and more result-driven.

  • Complete NDA (UPSC) written preparation
  • Dedicated SSB interview training (Psychology, GTO, Interview)
  • Defence-oriented academic ecosystem
  • Intensive physical & personality development training
  • Fully residential campus for focused preparation

Where the Journey Gets Its Head Start

1. NDA Preparation from Class 6

This is one of the biggest strengths of the Prince system.

At Prince, students can start their NDA journey from Class 6 through the Sainik School system. That early beginning allows them to grow steadily inside a disciplined and defence-oriented environment over several years.

By the time these students reach Class 11, they are already familiar with:

  • waking up on time
  • Following discipline daily
  • balancing academics with training
  • working inside a residential system
  • thinking about NDA as a clear long-term goal

That gives them a valuable foundation.

Prince also provides NDA preparation for Class 11, 12, and for droppers through Prince NDA Academy. The difference is that students who start from Class 6 carry an earlier base into that stage. They move ahead with more familiarity, more structure, and more continuity in their preparation.

The message is not that Class 11 is too late to begin. The message is that Prince gives students a chance to begin even earlier, if they choose to do so.

2. Defence Lifestyle Routine

The Prince model is strong not only because of what it teaches, but because of how students live every day.

The routine is built to make discipline part of normal life.

A typical day follows this kind of structure:

  • 5:00 AM – Wake up
  • Morning assembly
  • Ground training and GTO tasks
  • Academic classes
  • Lunch and rest
  • Self-study
  • Evening sports from 5 PM to 7 PM
  • Assembly
  • Dinner
  • Night self-study till 11 PM

This kind of routine does more than keep students busy. It changes their habits. They learn time management, physical discipline, consistency, and mental control through repetition, not by hearing lectures about them.

The result is that students do not feel like occasional aspirants preparing for an exam. They live like defence aspirants every day.

Here, discipline is not taught; it is practiced every single day.

3. OLQs (Officer Like Qualities)

Officer-like qualities are not built in a few workshops. They come from environment, repetition, responsibility, and pressure handled well over time.

At Prince, students work on key OLQs such as:

  • leadership
  • discipline
  • teamwork
  • decision-making

These qualities are developed through the daily structure of the campus. Students learn to work in teams, respond to instructions, handle responsibility, perform tasks, and maintain consistency under a demanding schedule.

That matters because NDA and SSB do not only test knowledge. They look for personality, maturity, balance, and command potential. Prince tries to build those traits long before the actual selection stage.

4. SSB Preparation

SSB preparation at Prince is not treated as a short crash course after the written exam.

It is conducted throughout the year, and that makes a major difference. Students stay in contact with the process over time, which gives them more room to improve naturally instead of forcing last-minute performance.

The SSB guidance is conducted by Ex-SSB Interview Panel Experts. That gives students exposure to experienced insight into how assessment works and what future officers are expected to demonstrate.

Because the preparation continues throughout the year, students become familiar with the mindset, communication, response style, and personal readiness needed for SSB.

This steady preparation helps students build comfort and confidence well before the actual selection stage.

5. Physical + Sports Training

Physical readiness is treated as a core part of the journey, not an extra activity.

Prince provides:

  • dedicated sports trainers
  • PTIs who are ex-army personnel
  • obstacle training
  • endurance building

That kind of setup helps students develop stamina, movement discipline, and resilience over time. Physical confidence often changes how students carry themselves, and that matters in both preparation and personality building.

The emphasis is not only on fitness scores. It is on training the body to support the routine, the pressure, and the competitive path the student has chosen.

6. Defence Leadership Environment

An institute looks different when its leadership comes from people who have actually served.

At Prince, the management includes Retired Colonels and Brigadiers. That gives the environment a different level of seriousness and direction. Students are not only studying under teachers and trainers. They are growing in a space shaped by people who understand defence life from the inside.

That kind of leadership affects culture. It influences how discipline is handled, how expectations are set, and how students see the path ahead.

The message this sends is clear: students here are being guided by real defence leaders, not by an invented image of military preparation.

7. Academic + Competitive Balance

Prince does not separate defence preparation from academic growth. It runs both together.

For students in Classes 6 to 10, the school stage includes regular academics under CBSE along with Defence, Civil Services, and Olympiad preparation. That keeps the academic base strong while students are still in their foundation years.

For students in Classes 11 and 12, the focus expands into NDA written preparation alongside school studies.

This balance matters because serious preparation needs more than one dimension. A student who wants to move toward NDA has to remain academically sound, mentally sharp, and competition-ready at the same time. Prince tries to hold those pieces together inside one system instead of splitting them across different institutions.

Journey

The Prince system is built around a long, visible journey:

Child → disciplined student → NDA Aspirant → officer material

That progression explains why the institute puts so much emphasis on early entry, residential structure, physical training, routine, SSB exposure, and leadership development. Each stage is meant to prepare the student for the next one.

A child enters school. A disciplined routine shapes habits. The student grows into a focused NDA aspirant. Over time, the same system works on personality, readiness, and responsibility until the student begins to look like officer material.

That journey is the real story behind Prince.

Final Thoughts

For students who dream of wearing the uniform, Prince offers more than coaching classes and exam preparation.

It offers a full system. A student can begin in Class 6, study in a residential defence-oriented environment, develop discipline through daily practice, build officer-like qualities over time, prepare for academics and competition together, and then move into focused NDA and SSB training with years of groundwork already in place.

At the same time, students who begin from Class 11 also receive focused NDA preparation through Prince NDA Academy. What Prince adds to the conversation is the opportunity to start that journey earlier through a complete school-to-academy pathway.

That is why Prince stands apart in this space.

For students who dream of wearing the uniform, Prince offers not just preparation, but a complete transformation into a future officer.

New AI-powered platform analyses thousands of cutoff records across 500+ medical colleges to help students navigate India’s most complex counselling process

Mumbai, 17 April 2026: On May 3, around 25 lakh students are expected to take NEET UG 2026, India’s largest entrance exam. But passing the exam is only half the battle. After the results, every student faces a tougher challenge: finding and securing a medical seat.

To do that, they must go through a complex counselling process that stretches from June to October. The process runs across two parallel systems: state-level counselling conducted by each state, and central counselling for the All India Quota managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Each system spans three to five rounds of counselling, producing allotment lists that run to hundreds of dense PDF pages. Every state has scores of category codes for reservations. Students applying under both state and central counselling are overwhelmed trying to process a humungous amount of data and juggle multiple deadlines.

“After months, often years, of exam preparation, students and families find themselves lost in the counselling process with no clear direction,” said Ashok Hegde, founder of NEET2Seat, a startup that is using official data and AI to make it easier for students to navigate this complex process. “A student who scores 450 or 550 marks has no easy way to know which colleges are within grasp, which college to pick for the preference list, or whether waiting for a later round is worth the risk. The data is all there in government PDFs, but students struggle to make sense of it on their own.”

The cutoffs pendulum

NEET2Seat analysed three years of allotment records across 500+ medical colleges. The finding: at nearly one in four All India Quota colleges, cutoff ranks shift by more than 25% from one year to the next. Students who rely on last year’s cutoffs are basing decisions on data that may not hold true for the current year.

Coaching centres and private counsellors charge ₹15,000 to ₹1,00,000 for “seat guidance” packages, often working off the same publicly available PDFs, compiled manually.

NEET2Seat (neet2seat.com) is a freemium AI-powered alternative. The platform uses AI to analyse historical allotment patterns across 500+ medical colleges and generate personalised college predictions, category-wise guidance, and round-by-round counselling strategy. It currently covers Maharashtra, Karnataka, and the All India Quota, with more states to follow.

What students and parents get

  • AI-powered Rank Predictor — convert marks to an expected rank using historical marks-vs-rank curves and 2026 test difficulty level rated by AI
  • College Predictor — enter a NEET score and category to see realistic college options with historical cutoff ranges
  • College Explorer — browse and compare 500+ medical colleges with detailed profiles, infrastructure data, and historical cutoff trends
  • AI-powered Choice Filler — build and reorder a choice list for counselling preference submissions
  • AI-powered Round Counsellor — get round-by-round advice (freeze, float or slide) based on current allotment status
  • Counselling guides — state-specific and category-wise guidance to help students from open and reserved categories understand their options and make informed choices

“Every student who clears NEET deserves a fair shot at the right college, not just those whose families can afford a counsellor,” Mr Hegde said. “The allotment data is public. We just made it usable.”
